We will take you out on an exciting and memorable journey among the stars, through an interactive stargazing experience. You will spend the evening exploring the sky, learning about the planets and constellations around us in a fun and practical way, guided by a passionate astronomer.
We will use our telescopes to take you out on a journey across the universe: you’ll be able to view star systems, star clusters, as listening to their amazing story from our astronomer. You’ll also get to explore the moon and/ or planets that are visible at the time of your experience.
After you’ve had your fun with the telescope you get to explore a laser-guided tour of the stars and the constellations that we can see in the night sky on your chosen date.

NUMBERS
on the day:
You will share the experience with other astronomy enthusiasts – as the workshop will happen in a group of up to 15 people. The minimum number of people for the activity to take place is 5. If the minimum is not met we will find another suitable date that works for everyone, keeping in mind also the weather conditions.
LOCATION:
Cluj Napoca
Usually the experience will happen nearby the city to avoid light pollution so you can clearly see the stars – on average it will be at maximum 15 km distance of the city center. We will let you know the exact location when you receive your booking confirmation.
*The transport to the experience location is not included.
GUIDELINES
Weather: The experience is suitable to weather – if the conditions are not met we will reschedule the experience.
Dress Code: As the experience takes place outdoor, mostly in a rural area it would be best to wear comfortable clothes & shoes. Also warm clothing is best suited especially in the cold season as the experience will happen after sunset.
Spectators:
Spectators are not encouraged for this activity as the seats are limited to participants. If you wish to share the experience with your friends they are encouraged to buy a voucher.
Cancellation:
Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider according to this policy.
You may cancel or reschedule, up to 3 days prior to your session.
Should you need to cancel or reschedule within the 3 days window prior to your allocated booking, as well as no-shows will still be charged the full amount without refund.
Restrictions:
Access for minors:
There is not necessarily an age limit but the content of the workshop is more suited for children with the age above 7 years.
• Age between 8 – 14 years – access is allowed only if they have a valid voucher (activated) and are accompanied by an adult with a valid voucher (activated);
• Age between 15 – 18 years – access is allowed only if they have a valid voucher (activated) and a document that confirms their parents approval of their attendance to the event / activity.
Mentions:
In order to easily find the provided location it’s best to arrive before dark – 15 minutes before the event starts.
The experience is only available in Cluj Napoca.
There are no drinks / food included but you are welcomed to bring your own.

Well this was an amazing experience. Very nice people, a LOT of precious and useful information about our solar system and about the Universe. It was a live version of the Hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy. Dan, our guide, was an awesome teacher and one can really see that he is passionate about space.
